Residence Dons are upper year undergraduate or graduate students who live and work in residence to offer advice and support on academic, personal, or interpersonal concerns. Dons ensure that our community standards are respected, provide campus resources as required, and work within the community to organize social and education programming for students.

As a positive role model and leader, the Don will develop and maintain an environment that is conducive to learning and personal growth, contributing to residents’ well-being by assisting students in dealing effectively with academic, social, personal and interpersonal concerns. This position carries much responsibility and involves many roles, including but not limited to, facilitator, educator, and administrator.
We’re currently seeking third year, fourth, or graduate students to fill two Don positions. One position must be filled by an Architecture student. Students from any faculty are welcome to apply to the second position.

COMMUNITY WELLNESS COORDINATOR
We’re excited to announce two openings for the Community Wellness Coordinator role at Chestnut Residence! This part-time, 10-month live-in contract beginning in July 2024 offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student wellness.
As a Community Wellness Coordinator (CWC), you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing student-focused supports and programming at Chestnut Residence. Your responsibilities will include organizing dynamic programming, fostering one-on-one connections with students, and providing on-call support within the residence community.
We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about student wellness and eager to contribute to our vibrant community. Whether you’re a recent graduate student with relevant experience or pursuing graduate/professional degrees, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity to live and work within Chestnut Residence.
